MATTER TO JEFFERSON COUNTY.
For too long, weak leadership has resulted in jobs leaving our county. I have the skills and experience to go toe to toe with St. Louis and other regional competitors to make sure Jefferson County gets the jobs and opportunities it deserves.
Where do your taxes go? Who is paid what and why? This information should be readily available to all Jefferson County taxpayers, but it’s not. That’s why I’m proposing we put it online. Holding government accountable should be easy.
I’ve been a member of the business community since 1973. I support more, higher-paying jobs. I support low taxes. I support economic initiatives that make our county stronger. I’m a job creator, and I want Jefferson County to be one, too.
Cutting Red Tape
Sometimes, the government just needs to get out of the way. When bureaucracy prevents a business from opening or a trained worker from seeking employment, that’s a problem. As county executive, I’ll cut red tape and put jobs first.
Investing in Education
Our kids are the future, and I want to make sure they have the resources they need to succeed. That means expanding broadband access to allow more kids to participate in online learning. It also means keeping our schools safe by investing more tax dollars in public safety.
Drug addiction is a problem facing all Missourians, but Jefferson County can lead the way on the opioid crisis by staying proactive and offering compassion and care to addicted individuals. Our county can’t afford to lose any more young people to addiction.
